TMNT: Splintered Fate
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Roguelite
Proprietary C++ Game Engine

Technical Designer
For the core release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, I focused on combat design, gameplay polish, and systems refinement across all four playable characters. Developed in C++ using a proprietary engine, my work included extensive balancing passes, iterative tuning of character kits and timing windows, and combat flow adjustments to ensure each Turtle maintained a distinct yet cohesive playstyle. I also contributed to debugging and fine-tuning numerous gameplay systems, helping stabilize and improve the overall player experience. As the base game laid the groundwork for later expansions, I developed several underlying systems and optimizations to support post-launch content, expanding the engine’s flexibility for future character additions, new levels, and evolving gameplay modes.
In addition to gameplay polish, I collaborated closely with the engineering team on cross-platform development and optimization. Originally released exclusively on iPhone, the game required significant system adaptations to support scaling and input adjustments for Mac and PC platforms. My role involved testing, refining, and integrating gameplay and UI systems for multi-input support and performance consistency across devices. Following the desktop releases, I contributed to preparing Splintered Fate for couch co-op and optimization on Nintendo Switch, ensuring smooth multiplayer performance and accessibility. I also supported the technical groundwork for future PlayStation and Xbox releases, strengthening the game’s foundations for continued expansion and long-term sustainability across platforms.
